Hasuyo Miller has worked with clay for over forty years.  She creates vessels and story telling sculptural imagery that constantly leads to more experimentation. Clay villages, decorative teapots, kimonos, imaginary fish, animals and her beloved gators are her specialty. Handbuilt and altered wheel thrown forms are methods used to create these sculptures. Multiple firings from 1900 to 2400 degrees F, produce unique colors and enhance surface textures. An inspired use of mixed media brings energy to her unique sculptures.

"It’s all about movement, color, texture and one thing leading to another." Hasuyo Miller
